On Wednesday, June 2, 2010, the Albert Lea Economic Development Agency (ALEDA) held their groundbreaking to launch the construction of 777th Avenue in the I-35/I90 Business Park.  Several dignitaries from the City of Albert Lea and the State of Minnesota were in attendance.

     The construction of 777th Avenue is the result of grants awarded to ALEDA and the City of Albert Lea from the US Economic Development Administration and the State of Minnensota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) which were awarded in August of 2009.

     Construction begins tomorrow, Thursday, June 3rd.  Watch this space for exciting development and periodic updates.
