ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT POSITION
The Albert Lea Economic Development Agency (ALEDA or Agency) is the local economic development organization representing Albert Lea and Freeborn County. ALEDA consists of the Albert Lea Port Authority, a governmental non-profit; and Greater Jobs, Inc., a private non-profit economic development corporation.
ALEDA is currently seeking a positive and resourceful candidate for the position of Administrative Assistant.
This position includes general clerical duties, staff and board support, customer service, and special projects as assigned. This individual will be expected to understand ALEDA’s mission and program of work and be willing to carry out various projects and tasks to accomplish the Agency’s goals.
Minimum requirements include excellent people skills, strong communication skills, both verbal and written, must be well organized, and capable of working independently. The applicant must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, and Publisher. Proficiency in website applications, email platforms, and an understanding of standard office equipment such as copier, fax and postage machine is also important.
This position will be an hourly position, averaging 28-30 hours per week. Starting pay is dependent upon qualifications.
